This one was even more complicated. Normally getting tickets is the trickiest bit. This time around we wanted to watch a game which was being played behind closed doors (a disciplinary consequence of the Turkish fracas against the Swiss in their decisive World Cup qualifier), which, as the name suggests, is intended to do without the presence of the fervent amongst us. Yet, there we were, watching the game from the Commerzbank Arena VIP lounge, sneering as the Turks got edgy until they were sure (late in the game) the points up for grabs were theirs, albeit not without much effort.
